Cyprus Optimistic on Russian Loan, Cypriot Foreign Minister Says

Cyprus is optimistic that it will reach an agreement with Russia for a 5 billion-euro ($6.4 billion) loan, Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Markoulli said in a live interview on Greek state-run channel NET TV.

Discussions between the two countries are continuing and are focused on the interest-rate level for the loan, Kozakou- Markoulli said in the interview today.
