French Barley Exports Rose in July as Wheat and Corn Sales Slid

French barley exports rose 14 percent in July from a year earlier, boosted by shipments to Saudi Arabia and Morocco. Wheat and corn deliveries dropped.
Barley shipments advanced to 393,619 metric tons from 345,979 tons in the first month of the 2011-12 crop year, customs data published online showed. Soft-wheat exports dropped 39 percent from a year earlier to 765,384 tons, while corn shipments fell 22 percent to 368,867 tons.
Outbound cargoes of durum wheat were little changed at 58,921 tons, according to the data.
