Christie’s Wine Auctions Fetch Total $5.46 Million in Hong Kong

Christie’s International sold a total HK$42.32 million ($5.46 million) at two wine sales in Hong Kong Sept. 8, with bidding led by vertical collections of historic vintages of Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Chateau Lafite- Rothschild and Chateau Latour dating between 1945 and 2008, according to results on its website.

The Mouton collection of 66 bottles sold for HK$1.09 million, 64 bottles of Lafite fetched HK$968,000 and a similar- sized lot of Latour sold for $871,200.
