Egypt Acquits Four Police Generals Accused of Killing Protesters

An Egyptian court acquitted four police generals accused of killing protesters during the unrest that led to the overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak last year.
The four were found not guilty of killing or attempting to kill demonstrators in Port Said, the city’s Criminal Court said in a faxed statement today.
