Greece Aims to Restart Road Projects to Create 30,000 Jobs

Greek Development Minister Konstantinos Hatzidakis said reviving plans to construct four major roadways will create 30,000 jobs immediately, a key part of plans to boost growth.

The country faces a critical six weeks until European Union leaders meet in October and must by then show it’s serious about changing the business environment, Hatzidakis said in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, according to a transcript of his speech emailed from his office in Athens today.
