The U.S. embassy in Brussels was evacuated and surrounding streets were closed today due to a suspicious vehicle parked nearby, Belga reported.
The embassy, consulate and the U.S. mission to the European Union were evacuated as a precaution, the Belgian news agency reported today. About 100 to 150 workers were affected, Belga said, citing Belgian police and embassy press staff.
Spokespeople for the U.S. delegation did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Bloomberg News.
