Pound Erases Gain Versus Euro; Is Little Changed at 79.15 Pence

The pound erased an advance against the euro, trading little changed at 79.15 pence as of 1:47 p.m. London time, after strengthening as much as 0.4 percent to 78.88 pence.

Sterling gained 0.3 percent to $1.5919.
