Sky Signs 3-Year Contract Extension to Show NFL Games in U.K.

British Sky Broadcasting Group Plc (BSYBY) signed a contract extension to show more than 60 National Football League games during the next three seasons in the U.K.
The contract runs through the 2014 season and includes rights to games played at Wembley Stadium in London, the playoffs and the Super Bowl, the NFL said in a statement. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Sky Sports, now in its 20th year showing NFL games, has the rights to television, mobile, online and tablet devices beginning with today’s season opener between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Giants beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl in February.
