Impresa Says SIC Television Audience Share Dropped in August

Impresa SGPS SA (IPR) said television station SIC’s share of the Portuguese television audience dropped in August.

SIC had a share of 20.2 percent in August, the company said in a statement on its website today. In July, SIC’s audience share reached 20.6 percent, Impresa spokesman Jose Freire said in an e-mailed statement.

The broadcaster had the second-biggest audience share among Portugal’s four open-air channels last month, behind TVI television channel, Impresa said.
