New Zealand Sets India 261 to Win Second Cricket Test, Series

New Zealand set India a target of 261 to win their second cricket Test in Bangalore as the home team seeks to secure a 2-0 victory in the two-match contest.

New Zealand added 16 runs to its overnight second-innings score of 232-9 on day four before Zaheer Khan had Jeetan Patel given out caught behind for 22. India spinner Ravi Ashwin finished with 5-69, his third five-wicket haul of the series.

India won the first Test at Hyderabad by an innings and 115 runs.

The teams also are scheduled to play two Twenty20 internationals on Sept. 8 and 11.
