Egypt Allocates $270 Million for Sinai Development: MENA

Egypt’s government allocated 1.65 billion pounds ($270 million) for development and infrastructure projects in the Sinai Peninsula, the state-run Middle East News Agency reported today.

The government is considering establishing three free-trade zones in Rafah and Arish in north Sinai and Nuweiba in south Sinai, Cairo-based MENA reported, citing the head of the Sinai Development Authority.
