Spanish Bonds Extend Drop as 30-Year Yield Reaches 1-Month High

Spanish government bonds extended a decline, pushing up the yield on 30-year securities to the highest in almost one month.
The 30-year yield jumped 18 basis points to 7.32 percent at 3:41 p.m. London time, the highest since Aug. 3. Ten-year bond yields increased 21 basis points to 6.81 percent.
Italy’s 10-year bond yield rose five basis points to 5.84 percent.
