Emerging-Market Stocks Pare Gains Before Bernanke’s Speech

Emerging-market stocks pared some of their gains before U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke’s speech.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index rose 0.2 percent to 946.09 as of 10:13 a.m. in New York, after gaining as much as 0.4 percent earlier today.
