Wizz Air Ltd., a Hungarian low-cost carrier, will start four new flights from Belgrade and add a new Airbus A320 at the Serbian airport, Beta reported.
The Budapest-based airline plans to carry 500,000 passengers through the airport next year, up from 360,000 forecast for 2012, with added flights to Basel, Oslo, Corfu and Rhodos and extra aircraft, the news service said, citing Chief Executive Officer Jozsef Varadi.
The airline has one A320 in Belgrade, which is one of Wizz Air’s 16 operating bases, and flies to 13 destinations.
