Brazil Extends Tax Cuts on Consumer Goods to Revive Economy

Brazil is extending tax cuts on the purchase of several consumer goods that were set to expire this month, Finance Minsiter Guido Mantega said.

Tax cuts on the purchase of washing machines, furniture, stoves, refrigerators and other home appliances will be extended until Dec. 31, Mantega told reporters in Brasilia
