Spain, Italy 10-Year Bonds Drop; Spanish Yield Rises to 6.46%

Spanish and Italian 10-year government bonds declined.
The yield on Spain’s 10-year security rose eight basis points, or 0.08 percentage point, to 6.46 percent at 2 p.m. London time, while the rate on similar-maturity Italian bonds climbed nine basis points to 5.80 percent.
