AFRICA DAYBOOK: Angolan Electoral Commission, EABL Earnings

Angola’s electoral commission meets to discuss complaints by opposition parties about conditions for general elections on Aug. 31.

The vote for parliament will be the nation’s second since the end of a 27-year civil war in 2002 and the first in two decades that may produce a new president.
