The country will export 74 cargoes totaling 66.5 million barrels, or 2.15 million barrels a day, in October, loading programs showed. This compares with 69 shipments amounting to 2.1 million barrels for September.
The October program comprises 11 Qua Iboe, 10 Bonny Light, seven Agbami, seven Forcados, five Bonga, five Brass River, four Erha, four Escravos, four Usan, three Akpo, two Amenam, two Antan, two EA, two Okono, two Okwori, two Yoho, one Abo and one Pennington. The sizes of the shipments range from 35,000 to 1 million barrels.
Loading programs are monthly schedules of crude shipments compiled by field operators to allow buyers and sellers to plan their supply and trading activities.
