BHP, the world’s biggest mining company is forecast to report today a 38 percent drop in earnings to $14.6 billion in the year ended June 30, according to the average of 18 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Woodside said first-half profit fell 2 percent because of costs related to the start of its Pluto liquefied natural gas project. Schroeders spoke from Melbourne with Susan Li on Bloomberg Television's "First Up" before Woodside announced its financial results. (Source: Bloomberg)
