Two Dead in Syria-Linked Clashes in Tripoli, Lebanon’s NNA Says

Two persons were killed and 44 wounded in clashes that started yesterday in Tripoli, Lebanon, the country’s official National News Agency said on its website.

Supporters and opponents of Syrian President Bashar al- Assad have confronted each other in the capital Beirut and in Tripoli as fighting between forces loyal to Assad and rebels demanding his ouster intensified in Syria.
