Italian 10-Year Bonds Rise; Yield Drops 7 Basis Points to 5.71%

Italian 10-year bonds advanced, pushing the yield on the securities down seven basis points to 5.71 percent as of 7:52 a.m. London time. That’s the lowest since July 4.
The yield on similar-maturity Spanish debt fell eight basis points to 6.36 percent, also the least since July 4.
