Pakistan Banks, Government Offices, Markets Closed Aug. 20-22

Pakistan’s stock exchanges, banks, central bank, government offices and businesses will be closed Aug. 20 through Aug. 22 for the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.

They will reopen on Aug. 23, according to separate announcements by the central bank, Karachi Stock Exchange and government.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
