Unification Church Says Leader Moon Is ‘Gravely Ill’

Unification Church founder Moon Sun Myung is gravely ill and has been put on a respirator at the intensive care unit of St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul, church spokesman Ahn Ho Yeol said today by telephone.
Moon, 92, was admitted on Aug. 14 after suffering from a cold and pneumonia earlier this month and developing complications, Ahn said. Moon’s condition has not changed since his hospitalization and doctors are still conducting tests, Ahn said.
