Belgium reported a trade surplus in June as exports increased and imports fell.
The trade surplus of 655.2 million euros followed a revised deficit of 139.1 million euros a month earlier, the National Bank of Belgium said on its website today.
Exports rose 0.6 percent from the year-earlier period, while imports declined 3.6 percent, according to an e-mailed report. The central bank report previously reported a trade surplus of 125.6 million euros in May.
