ArcelorMittal’s Ukrainian Unit Says Steel Output Increased 28%

The Ukrainian unit of ArcelorMittal (MT), the world’s largest steelmaker, increased steel production last month by 28 percent, the company said without giving a reason.
Steel output rose to 544,100 tons in July compared with 425,100 tons in the same month a year earlier, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, based in the city with that name, said in an e- mailed statement today.
Pig iron production increased to 477,500 tons from 363,900 tons in July last year, according to the statement.
