Germany’s federal grid regulator Bundesnetzagentur opened malpractice proceedings against grid operator TenneT TSO GmbH, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung said, citing Jochen Homann, the agency’s head.
The proceedings, initiated by wind farm developer Windreich AG, may result in “high indemnity claims” against TenneT, Homann said, according to the newspaper.
TenneT spokeswoman Ulrike Hoerchens wasn’t immediately available for comment.
