Turkey’s Jeanci to Open Textile Plant in Serbia, Beta Reports

Jeanci Konfeksiyon Tekstil Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS, a Turkish clothing manufacturer, will expand its Serbian operation with a 6 million euro ($7 million) jeans factory, Beta news agency reported, citing co-owner.

Jeanci plans production for brands that include Cavalli, Ferre and Versace and will increase workforce tenfold to 1,150 when it completes the plant in the southern city of Leskovac in 2014, the report quoted Aydogan Turkyilmaz as saying.
