Swedish Krona Strengthens After CPI, Industrial Production Data

Sweden’s krona strengthened against both the euro and the dollar as headline inflation slowed to 0.7 percent in the year ending July and industrial production rose an annual 1.1 percent in June, according to data released by Statistics Sweden today.

The krona rose 0.54 percent against the euro to 8.2322 and strengthened 0.89 percent versus the dollar to 6.6510 as of 9:49 a.m. in Stockholm.
