Kuwait Lowers Official Crude Price to Asia to 50 Cent Discount

Kuwait lowered the price differential for its crude sold to buyers in Asia during September to a discount of 50 cents a barrel to the average of the Middle East benchmark Dubai and Oman grades, said two people familiar with the decision, asking not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.

The level was cut from a 70 cent premium for August.
