Islamists in U.A.E Had Links With ‘External Elements’: WAM

The Islamists arrested in the United Arab Emirates for conspiring against the state had links with “external elements” and had worked in an “organized” manner, the state-run news agency WAM reported, citing a statement by the cabinet.

The individuals were causing harm to the country and spreading false information to incite others, according to the statement, the news agency said, without elaborating.
