Egypt Buys 120,000 Metric Tons of Russia Wheat, Nomani Says

Egypt, the world’s biggest wheat importer, bought 120,000 metric tons of Russian milling wheat at a tender today, Nomani Nomani, vice chairman of the state-run General Authority For Supply Commodities, told reporters in Cairo.

The authority, known as GASC, bought 60,000 tons of the grain at $316.47 a ton from Glencore International and an equal amount at the same price from Soyuz, Nomani said. The cargoes are for shipment from Sept. 10-20, he said.
