Qatar Confiscates Some Private Land for Public Use, QNA Says

Qatar’s Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani ordered the confiscation of some private land for public use, the state-run Qatar News Agency said, citing the order.

Some of the land was acquired for the construction of a metro system in the country, Al Sharq newspaper reported, citing the decision.
