Societe Anonyme Marocaine de l’Industrie du Raffinage, the Moroccan refiner known as Samir (SAM), raised the capacity of its Mohammedia facility to 200,000 barrels a day following an upgrade, Asharq al-Awsat reported, citing the refiner.
Samir started operating a new crude distillation unit and a jet fuel facility at Mohammedia on Aug. 7, the Pan-Arab newspaper said. The jet fuel unit can produce 600,000 metric tons a year, according to the report.
