Ecopetrol Says Impact of Colombia Rebel Attacks Fell in July

The impact of attacks by Colombia’s Marxist rebels on Ecopetrol SA (ECOPETL), Colombia’s largest oil company, fell in July compared with previous months, Chief Executive Officer Javier Gutierrez said.

“We have had a very good month,” Gutierrez said in an interview in Cartagena. “There were a few incidents, but it has been a month that has improved significantly.”
