Cameroon Average Cocoa-Export Price Rises 7.8% in Week

Cameroon’s average cocoa-export price rose 7.8 percent to 1,259 CFA francs ($2.38) a kilogram (2.2 pounds) in the week to Aug. 6 from a week earlier, according to Bloomberg calculations made using the Cocoa and Coffee Board’s data.
A total of 170,441 metric tons has been exported since the start of the season, compared with 193,851 tons shipped in the previous year during the same period.
