Mechel Chairman Zyuzin Complains to Medvedev About Tax Probes

OAO Mechel’s chairman, Russian billionaire Igor Zyuzin, complained to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev about an investigation into the coal producer’s taxes, he said in remarks broadcast on state television Rossiya 24.

Tax and antitrust authorities are looking into Mechel’s practice of charging domestic and foreign companies different prices, said Zyuzin, the company’s chairman and main owner.
