Russia’s Borodin Buys $219 Million U.K. Home, Sunday Times Says

Russian Billionaire Andrei Borodin paid 140 million pounds ($219 million) for an estate near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, U.K., the Sunday Times reported citing a local politician.

The purchase makes the property Britain’s most expensive house, the newspaper reported. Borodin and his lawyer refused to comment on the purchase when contacted by the Sunday Times, it reported, while local councilor John Halsall confirmed the new owner.
