Nearly Half of Colombians Disapprove of Santos, Tiempo Reports

President Juan Manuel Santos received a 49.7 percent disapproval rating on the manner in which he’s governing, while 43.9 percent of Colombians gave him an approval rating, according to a poll by Datexco Co. published today in El Tiempo newspaper’s online edition.
The poll also found 67.4 percent don’t support Santos’s re- election.
The July 30 to Aug. 1 survey of 1,200 people has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.83 percentage points, the Bogota- based newspaper said, without providing comparative data from previous polls.
