Japan to Ink Green Tech Transfer Accord With India, Nikkei Says

Japan will sign a technology-transfer agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions with India as early as this fall, the Nikkei newspaper reported today.

Japan will also sign similar accords with Indonesia and Vietnam, the newspaper reported, without saying where it got the information.

Tokyo has been preparing to start a program to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in developing countries with technologies provided by Japanese companies.
