EDF Gets 90% of Edison Shares Sought in Public Tender Offer

Electricite de France SA will get 90 percent of the Edison SpA (EDN) shares it was seeking in a public tender offer.
Shareholders tendered 904.8 million shares of Edison, according to a statement today from the Italian stock exchange.
