Argentines Protest Power Cuts at Edesur, Edenor, Telam Reports

Residents of shanty towns in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires protested today at the offices of two electric utilities over persistent power cuts in their neighborhoods, state-run news agency Telam reported.

The residents want Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte SA and Empresa Distribuidora Sur SA to install meters and improve the reliability of supplies, the agency said.
