Argentine Wheat Crop Is 94% Planted, Cereals Exchange Says

Argentina’s wheat planting is 94 percent completed, the Buenos Aires Cereals Exchange said today in its weekly crop report.

The exchange maintained the estimated planting area for Argentina’s wheat crop at 3.6 million hectares. The area had been reduced twice last month from 3.8 million hectares.

Argentina’s corn crop is 96 percent harvested. The exchange repeated a forecast of 19.3 million tons for the country’s corn crop, saying 18.3 million tons have been harvested so far.
