Uganda recorded at least 14 new suspected cases of Ebola as the death toll from the outbreak of the virus rose to 18, New Vision reported, citing medical officials it didn’t identify.
Eleven cases are in the western district of Kibaale, while three are being treated in the capital, Kampala, after being transferred from the district, the newspaper said. Four people died from the outbreak in the district on July 30, while a patient in the western district of Mbarara is being monitored for suspected Ebola, it said.
