Romanian Transelectrica Wins EU42 Million Credit to Upgrade Grid

Transelectrica SA (TEL), Romania’s power- grid operator, won a 42 million-euro ($51.66 million) credit line from a group of banks led by ING Bank NV, according to a statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The credit has a maturity of seven years will be used to finance investments in upgrading the grid. The group of lenders also includes BRD Group Societe Generale SA and CaixaBank (CABK) SA, Transelectrica said in the statement.
