China, Japan, S.Korea Central Bank Heads Met in Dalian, BOK Says

Central bank governors from China, Japan and South Korea met today in Dalian, China, the Bank of Korea said in an e-mailed statement.

The three policy makers discussed recent economic and financial developments, according to the statement. The bank chiefs also exchanged views on the need to control debt in all three countries, Jeon Seung Cheol, deputy director at the BOK’s Economic Research Institute, told reporters today in a briefing.
