Violence in Syria Has Risen to Level of War Crime, El-Arabi Says

Arab League chief Nabil el-Arabi said that what is taking place in Syria, and in the city of Aleppo, rises to the level of war crimes, the state-run Middle East News Agency reported.

El-Arabi said he backed calls by the Syrian opposition for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council, adding that what was important was “we come out with” something from such a meeting.
