U.K. Water Offsetting Infrastructure Spending Slump, Report Says

The U.K. water and waste treatment industry is bucking a slump in infrastructure upgrades in other construction areas by spending hundreds of millions of pounds on maintenance and improvements, according to a new report.
The WaterBriefing report on the 2010-2015 asset management plan said British water and sewage companies are busy trying to meet the demands of a growing population and climate change as well as stiffer European Union environmental standards.
