Echeverry Wants Colombia Interest Rate Cut Soon, Espectador Says

Colombian Finance Minister Juan Carlos Echeverry said the central bank should start to cut interest rates in the next few months, El Espectador reported, citing an interview with the minister.

Echeverry said a rate cut will be needed in the “coming months,” the Bogota-based newspaper quoted him as saying.
