Cyprus Court Orders Suspected Terrorist to Stand Trial, AP Says

A Cypriot court has ordered a man suspected of planning attacks against Israeli tourists on the east Mediterranean island to stand trial on terrorism-related charges, the Associated Press said.
The 24-year-old man faces nine terrorism and terrorism- related charges and the trial will begin in September, AP reported, citing Cypriot police spokesman Andreas Angelides.
Almost 13,400 Israeli tourists visited Cyprus in the first half, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service.
