Zambian President Sata Re-Assigns Ministers, Mail Reports

Zambian President Michael Sata appointed Transport, Works, Supply and Communication Minister Yamfwa Mukanga to head the Mines, Energy and Water Development Ministry, the Lusaka-based Zambia Daily Mail said.
He replaces Christopher Yaluma, who takes over Mukanga’s former ministry, the government-owned newspaper reported, citing George Chellah, Sata’s spokesman. Minister of Local Government and Housing Nkandu Luo becomes minister of chiefs and traditional affairs, the Daily Mail said, without providing reasons for the changes.
